Brooks Nader is officially a cover girl. The five-time SI Swimsuit model, who just landed on the front of the 2023 issue, made her debut with the magazine in ’19 when she won the Swim Search open casting call.
The Baton Rouge native, who now lives in New York City, was photographed by James Macari in the Dominican Republic earlier this year and the images are absolutely beautiful.

“No, this is not actually happening, I don’t believe it,” Nader gushed between happy tears when she was surprised with the news of her cover by the SI Swimsuit team. “I was honored enough to be in the magazine so I never thought that I would actually be on the cover. I don’t really even know what to say.”
“Congratulations, Brooks, on your cover because you have come from our Swim Search world and you have stuck with us and you have hustled and you have worked so hard. You have represented this brand with every ounce of your soul,” editor in chief MJ Day said in a speech at the New York Stock Exchange a few days later. ”These women take a lot of the world’s weight on their shoulders when they choose to do this and when they end up on the cover. They’re not only beautiful and brilliant, but they’re also very brave.”
